Their annual NAIGC Nationals was held in Daytona Beach, FL on April 11-13 and featured over 1,500 athletes competing. Female athletes had the option to compete with USAG level 7, 8, 9 or developmental rules and males have the options of level 9, modified NCAA and a developmental rules.

There were many outstanding performances that highlighted the nationals event, including the NAIGC successfully breaking a Guinness Book World Record!! Groups of athletes practiced the formal count necessary to perform the simultaneous feat prior to arriving at Nationals. Just before the Final Competition was about to begin, 435 athletes gathered around the arena for the Most Simultaneous Back Tucks Record, shattering the former record of 250.

The NAIGC is proud of their Scholarship Program that annually awards two male and two female athletes with a $1,500 scholarship. Winners are selected based on their level of involvement with gymnastics, their competitive success and financial need. Any graduating high school senior who is planning to join an active NAIGC team is welcome to apply. Applications are due by July 1st. Email [email protected] for more info.
