Clearly marked lines and numbers on the Laser Beam provide visuals that teach gymnasts how to shift their balance of movement during different phases of various skills. Two white lines indicate where the edges of a competition beam would be. The blue line indicates the center of the beam, and the two red lines are a visual to let the athlete when they are close to the edge.

The Laser Beam has become one of the most popular at home training beam options for it's friendly, confidence inspiring design. The concept, innovated from Master Coach Leonard Issac, is centered around visualization and building a strong base of balance and awareness in skills from beginner through elite athletes. Instead of raising this beam, we've lowered it to 2-inches off the ground. It's every gymnasts dream to have a beam that's 6½-inches wide, unleashing the tumbling, leaping, jumping potential! Visualizing the numbers and lines on the Laser Beam is a strong corrective action toward staying on the beam. Two white lines indicate where the edges of a 4-inch competition beam would be so skills transfer easily to a typical beam. We've added a Tumbling Mat to this bundle for the ultimate beam training station. Our high quality mats provide a safe landing surface and features 2-foot wide folding panels for convenient storage.
